Fiona Sparks Signs with Columbia College

Columbia College, Missouri have just signed another great 'Aussie Guard' Fiona Sparks. She has had many great accomplishments already as a junior basketball player career in Australia. Fiona has been selected on many occasions to represent her State Team, NSW Country, at the Australian National Junior Championships. In 2005, her team won the silver medal followed by winning the gold medal, Fiona as a bottom age player in 2006. Fiona also Captained her team at the Australian Junior National Championships once again in 2007 and 2008.

Fiona is excited about pursuing her basketball career as she follows her sister's footsteps to the U.S. Fiona's sister Lauren has already been on scholarship for one year at Hutchinson Community College where after the season hopes to move on up the ranks to the Division One Level of the NCAA.

The proud parents of these girls, Belinda and John are excited for both as they move on to bigger and better life experiences overseas in the U.S.A.
